PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separator having flexibility and flexibly handled in installation or transportation. SOLUTION: The gas separation apparatus is provided comprising a flexible hollow fiber bundle 1 separating compressed air into a nitrogen-containing gas and an oxygen-containing gas, and a flexible outer casing tube 3 covering the hollow fiber bundle and having a discharge port for discharging the oxygen-containing gas separated by the hollow fiber bundle, wherein the hollow fiber bundle and the outer casing tube are airtightly held, the discharge port 8 is disposed on the inlet end side of the compressed air, a flexible resin made of polysulfone, polyimide or the like is used for the hollow fiber bundle, and any one of a metal bellows, a resin of polypropyrene (PP), polyethylene (PE) or the like, rubber and a cloth is used for the outer casing tube, and thereby achieving a gas separator having flexibility.
