PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since color irregularity is generated especially in a low density part, color reproducibility is not satisfactory, and the reproducibility of the color of the skin of a person for which a fine color tone is required or the green color of the plants of a natural drawing for which a deep color tone is desired is not satisfactory. SOLUTION: This color image formation method includes referring to the image data of a plurality of pixels, and forming an image like dots or lines by distributing density data to specific positions among a plurality of pixels according to the reference result. In this case, the positions of density generation pixels are changed according to the predetermined color information of the pixel data, and an image is formed so that adjacent pixels can be connected about the predetermined colors in a predetermined density part.
