PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system in which sound pressure of a speaker can be improved without increasing a mounting space and width of the speaker in a speaker system where sounds emitted by a speaker built in a housing of a flip phone are emitted through acoustic holes provided in a lateral face of the housing at a lateral side of the speaker. SOLUTION: The speaker system includes the acoustic holes 12, 13 in front and lateral faces of the speaker 1. An annular pad 14 is provided astride the lateral face of the speaker 1 provided with the lateral-side acoustic hole 13 from a front face of the speaker 1 in such a manner as to wholly enclose the front-face acoustic hole 12 and the lateral-face acoustic hole 13. An external space 15 is formed where the annular pad 14 and the housing 21 are allowed to contact with each other and thereby sounds that have passed through the front-face acoustic hole 12 are introduced along an inner surface of the housing 21 to the lateral-face acoustic hole 13 and then, after making the forgoing sounds and sounds that have passed through the lateral-face acoustic hole 13 join together in the vicinity of the lateral-face acoustic hole 13, the sounds that have joined together are led to an acoustic hole 20 provided in the lateral face of the housing 21a.
