PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system by which a burden on ESSID setting of a user is canceled by automatically setting ESSIDs to each access point under environment where a plurality of access points to which ESSID stealth is applied exist and the ESSIDs of each access point are different. SOLUTION: In the radio communication system by which each of the plurality of existing access points 100, 200 is accessed by a mobile terminal 5, the ESSID corresponding to present position information which is preliminarily stored in the storage part of the mobile terminal 5 is acquired on the basis of the present position information of the mobile terminal 5 and tries participation to networks 10, 20 to which each of the access points 100, 200 belongs by using the acquired ESSID.
