PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube device whose high-order distortion of horizontal lines of a screen is corrected. SOLUTION: A pair of coma coils 8 for correcting VCR being displacement in the vertical axis direction of a central electron beam with respect to the centers of a pair of side electron beams on the vertical axis on the upper and lower sides of a screen are arranged at a position in the vicinity of the electron gun side end of a deflection yoke 6. When it is assumed that the maximum value of intensity of a vertical deflection magnetic field on the tube axis, and intensity of the vertical deflection magnetic field on the tube axis at the position where the pair of coma coils 8 are arranged in the tube axis direction are H<SB>MAX</SB>and H<SB>C</SB>, respectively, H<SB>C</SB>/H<SB>MAX</SB>≥0.8 is satisfied.
