PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider mounting body for minimizing the vibrations of a slider even during and after HDI, suppressing the change of the flying height and stabilizing the operation of the slider, and its fabrication method. SOLUTION: A flexure 1 includes, integrally with a base portion 10, a pair of outriggers 30, 30 extended in the direction of a longitudinal axis 40, a pair of crossbars 50, 50 that are orthogonal to the outriggers 30, 30 and a slider bonding pad portion 60 supported by the crossbars 50, 50. The slider 300 is disposed so that its center 70 of percussion is directly below the point of affixation to the slider bonding pad 60 and practically directly below the common center axis (transverse axis) of the crossbars 50, 50. When an impact to the slider 300 is caused by the HDI, twisting in a pitch direction occurs in the crossbars 50, 50, bending occurs in the outriggers 30 and energy is absorbed.
