PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup in which costs are lowered by reducing the assembling works and types of components. SOLUTION: A pair of connection substrates 12 provided with sub wiring 11 are fixed to both side faces of a lens holder 8, a plurality of elastic wires 15 soldered P to the land of each sub wiring 11 at one end 15a are fixed to both side faces of a gel box with an adhesive 22 at the other end 15b, relay wiring 13 is molded integrally with main wiring 18 on a control substrate 17, and a mounting substrate 23 is fixed to the distal end of the relay wiring 13. The mounting substrate 23 is locked to the back surface 7a of the gel box 7 so as to be engaged and disengaged, and the other end 15b of each elastic wire 15 and the land at the distal end of the relay wiring 13 are soldered.
