PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine cooling or heating, and selling a commodity such as a can drink, reducing power consumption by using waste heat in time of the cooling for the heating, and allowing application even in time of a low outside air temperature. SOLUTION: By individually installing a changeover chamber evaporator 20 and a changeover chamber condenser 21 inside a hot/cold changeover chamber 1, an optimum design as an evaporating or condensing heat exchanger can be performed. By connecting the changeover chamber condenser 21 and an outdoor heat exchanger 7 through a resistor 22, a condensation temperature of the changeover chamber condenser 21 can be kept comparatively high even in time of the low outside air temperature, and the waste heat in time of the cooling is used for the heating to reduce the power consumption.
