PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for retrieving a similar product by use of an existing component list as it is. SOLUTION: A similarity index to a retrieval reference product is calculated from a configuration of each product and a time necessary to produce each the product. It is decided whether a valid period of an item constituting each the product and a valid period of a retrieval reference item overlap or not. Evaluation cost is calculated according to whether the calculated similarity index and the valid period overlap or not, and the product and the evaluation cost of the product are outputted.
