PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat generation in a damper rubber and enhance reliability of a damper pulley absorbing and damping vibration of a rotary shaft such as a crankshaft by an elastic body. SOLUTION: The damper pulley 1 includes a hub 11 mounted on the rotary shaft, a round annular damper mass 12 disposed along the outer periphery of the hub 11, and the damper rubber 13 disposed between the hub 11 and the damper mass 12. A Peltier element 2 is disposed at a position from which the damper rubber 13 can be cooled. An electric power supply source 3 is provided for converting energy of relative motion of the hub 11 and the damper mass 12 generated by vibration of the rotary shaft such as the crankshaft into electric power and supplying it to the Peltier element 2. The damper rubber 13 is forcibly cooled by the Peltier element 2 and the heat generation of the damper rubber 13 is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
