PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen capable of raising efficiency and imagination in an intellectual work. SOLUTION: The kitchen includes plane view substantially horizontal U shape work tops 2 (2C, 2L, 2R) along three-directional wall surfaces 1C, 1L, 1R in a substantially rectangular space where a front surface at the back and both the right and left sides are enclosed by wall surfaces 1C, 1L, 1R. The right side work top 2R is set to be a sinistrocerebral work area, and the left side work top 2L is to be a dextrocerebral work area. A refrigerator 3, a white board 4, and a personal computer 5, etc., are arranged in the right side work top 2R.
