Machine (1) that has to be monitored by an operator (2) and that requires co-ordinated actions by this operator (2) at specific moments, in order to ensure the proper operation of this machine and the quality of the products obtained, and comprising a physical sensor (3A, 3B) defining the requirement of an urgent action by the operator, a generator of non-directional signals (5) sending non-directional signals within a wide perimeter, a generator of directional signals (6A, 6B) directed towards a restricted set of operators, a means (9) of transmitting information from the machine (1) to the non-directional signals generator (5), means (7A, 7B) for transmitting information from the machine (1) to the directional signals generators (6A, 6B), and a management means linking these said elements.
