<p>A method for transmitting subscriber line layer 2 encapsulation mode to broadband access server, which includes: while the broadband subscriber access device detects certain subscriber has satisfied with the preset subscriber line layer 2 encapsulation mode notify condition, it transmits the subscriber's subscriber line layer 2 encapsulation mode to broadband access server. The invention can reduce the resource cost of DSLAM, and reduce the workload of PPP or DHCP at the same time.</p> |
