PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesiveness of a vapor-deposited needle-like cesium halide phosphor layer. SOLUTION: In this radiographic image storage panel including consecutively a support body, an under layer, and a stimulative phosphor layer containing a needle-like stimulative phosphor crystal, the under layer is a nonvapor-deposited layer free from a binder, containing at least an inorganic alkali halide selected from a group comprising sodium fluoride, sodium chloride, sodium bromide, potassium fluoride, potassium chloride, potassium bromide, rubidium fluoride, rubidium chloride, rubidium bromide, cesium fluoride, cesium chloride, and cesium bromide, as a halide compound.
