PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary alcohol detection system. SOLUTION: This alcohol detection system comprises an alcohol sensor unit 4 having an alcoholic gas sensor which detects alcoholic concentration of a test subject's expiration and a mouthpiece 37 fixed to the alcohol sensor unit 4 and measures the alcoholic concentration when ID information of the test subject is input. The mouthpiece 37 has an IC tag chip 38 storing the ID information. The alcohol sensor unit 4 reads the ID information from the IC tag chip 38 when the mouthpiece 37 is mounted.
