PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut of a ball screw and the ball screw capable of miniaturizing an external shape. SOLUTION: This nut has an installation screw part 3 forming an installation screw 3a coaxial with a nut body 2 in an end part of the nut body 2. Thus, the screw part threadedly engaging with the installation screw 3a is prearranged in a using machine, and the nut body 2 can be fixed to the machine by threadedly engaging the installation screw part 3 of the nut 1 with its screw part.
