PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable permanent guarantee of extending and retracting operation in a fork body by using a bush. SOLUTION: A front fork has a dust seal 6, an oil seal 7 and the bush 3, coming into slidable contact with an outer periphery of an inner tube 2, inside a seal case 5 connected to an opening end 11 of the outer tube 1 in which the inner tube 2 is inserted for moving in and out. The seal case 5 has a connection 51 connected to the outer periphery of the opening end 11 of the outer tube 1 and has a diameter-extended portion 52 which is extended from the connection 51 toward a closed side end of the inner tube 2 and receives therein the dust seal and oil seal. The bush 3 is arranged to be inside the seal case 5 and in series with the oil seal 7 and is held on an inner periphery of a holder 8 facing inside the opening end 11 of the outer tube 1.
