PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submersible pump excellent in durability maintaining constant operation accuracy for a long period of time by preventing damage to a rolling bearing and a mechanical seal. SOLUTION: This submersible pump has a motor part M, a pump part P and a mechanical seal chamber S provided between the motor part and the pump part erectly provided in a vertical direction. The rolling bearing provided in a side near to the mechanical seal chamber is provided with an annular slinger 20 preventing intrusion of foreign matter into the bearing and the mechanical seal chamber. The slinger includes a base end part 20a for fixing the slinger on a rotation wheel 6a, a surface part 20b continuing to the base end part and extending in a direction crossing between the bearing and the mechanical seal 18, and a wall part 20c continuing to the surface part and extending at predetermined bend angleαof not less than 90 degrees and not more than 180 degrees in an external direction of the bearing with keeping a predetermined interval between opposing bearing stationary rings 6b.
