PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of increasing dust collection efficiency and extending life time while inhibiting increase of air-flow resistance of the air cleaner, in the air cleaner used in an intake system of an automobile engine or the like. SOLUTION: A bonded fabric acquisition body 15a is installed on a downstream side expansion part 172 of an air cleaner with circumference thereof attached on an air cleaner case 11. The acquisition body 15a is installed with keeping a gap with a filter element 12 to 5 mm. The acquisition body 15a is provided with an air flow outlet 14 and a hole part 16 having roughly the same diameter as the air flow outlet on a center part thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
