PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripper with a lock attached, wherein this gripper or an article held by it must be safe from theft by a malicious third party, but one too complex in the locking procedure for preventing thefts is not good, and one so simple in this procedure as to be only treated by a single hand and not to restrict the freedom of locking methods is better, namely, it should have a simple structure, and need no labor of installing it on a bicycle, etc. before use. SOLUTION: The gripper has a smart built-in lock mechanism. A first arm and a second arm have a first gripping part and a second gripping part at their respective one ends, and a first finger grasp and a second finger grasp at their respective other ends. A first rotary center and a second rotary center are provided near the centers of the first and second arms respectively, and the first and second gripping parts can open by grasping the first and second finger grips. The gripper comprises a first gripping body provided with a first action part on the first arm, a fourth gripping part between the second gripping part on the second arm and the second rotary center, and a first momentum member giving momentum to the first and second gripping parts in the direction of their closing up, and a second holding body provided with a third gripping part at one end of a third arm, the third rotary center of the third arm on the second arm, a third action part on the third arm and a second momentum part giving momentum to the third and fourth momentum parts in the direction of their closing up.
