PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple earthquake-resistant joint structure which connects opposed floor slabs of juxtaposed structures together, which eliminates a hindrance to passage between the floor slab, which prevents the intrusion of water into a gap, and which improves an appearance seen from below a connected part between the floor slabs. SOLUTION: In this earthquake-resistant joint structure 1 for the floor slab, the opposed floor slabs 13 and 14 of the juxtaposed structures are connected together with the gap 15 between them. A sliding plate 2, the one end side 2a of which is fixed to one floor slab 13 and the other end side 2b of which is set free with respect to the other floor slab 14, is arranged in such a manner as to cover a section below the gap 15. A cushioning material 3, which is supported on the sliding plate 2 so as to absorb the displacement of the floor slabs 13 and 14, is arranged in the gap 15. A waterproof layer 4 for preventing the intrusion of the water into the gap 15 is provided on the cushioning material 3 in such a manner that its top surface is almost as high as the top surfaces of the floor slabs 13 and 14.
