PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent insulation film in view points from film characteristics such as dielectric constant, Young's modulus, etc., and a composition for forming the film in order to obtain an electronic device by using the same. SOLUTION: This method for producing the polymer is characterized by using a precipitation polymerization method in producing a polymer having a cage type structure from a monomer having the cage type structure.
