PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing a pyridine sulfenamide compound. SOLUTION: The method for producing pyridine sulfenamide compound comprises amination of a sulfur atom of a 2-sulfenamoyl-nicotinate compound represented by general formula (B) by reacting a hydroxylamine-O-sulfonic acid. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>is a group or an atom selected from a group comprising a 1-8C chain alkyl or 3-8C cyclic alkyl group, a 1-8C alkoxyl group, a 2-12C alkoxycarbonyl group, a phenyl group and a halogen atom.
