<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an expanding portion to at least one side of a head portion and a neck portion of an occupant, according to a fore-and-aft position of a vehicular seat, a seating posture of the occupant, and the size of a physique, at the time of side collision. <P>SOLUTION: A belt guide 20 for guiding an occupant restraining webbing 16 is provided on a headrest 30, and the height of the headrest 30 can be adjusted by a cylinder device 22 (a driving means). So that, when the occupant 14 adjusts the height of the headrest 30 according to his/her physique or the seating posture, the height of the belt guide 20, namely the height of the occupant restraining webbing 16 above a seat back 28 becomes proper height. Therefore, at the time of the side collision, the expanding portion 18 provided on the occupant restraining webbing 16 can be expanded according to at least one side of the head portion 14H and the neck portion 14N of the occupant 14, and the inertia of the head portion 14H in a vehicular width direction can be absorbed by the expanding portion 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
