PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted electronic component capable of preventing intrusion of flux into the inside while ensuring soldering strength. SOLUTION: This surface-mounted electronic component has a housing 1 made of an insulating resin, and metal plate-like terminal materials 2 formed integrally with the housing 1, wherein each terminal 2 forms a terminal part 20 for surface mount soldering by electrically connecting one end to a contact part 10 formed on the inside surface of the housing 1 and by exposing the other end to the outside of the housing 1. The terminal material 2 has, in an embedded part in the housing 1, a recessed part 21 recessed in the plate thickness direction, and the recessed part 21 has corner parts 22 for accumulating flux intruding in soldering the terminal part 20.
