PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating body which uses a substrate reinforcing member, achieves the reduction in cost by efficiently using the substrate reinforcing member, and achieves safety in emergency such as the runaway of a main body CPU and the restraint of temperature rise at a paper non-passing part, and where heat generation distribution is different in a longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: In the heating body 23 having a slender substrate 30 extended in one direction, and a plurality of heating elements 31 and 32 provided on one side of the substrate 30 and arranged along in the longitudinal direction of the substrate 30, at least one of the plurality of heating elements 31 and 32 has a heating area where a calorific value per unit length in the longitudinal direction is different. The substrate reinforcing members 38 and 39 are provided on the other side of the substrate 30 corresponding to the high-temperature heating area of the heating elements 31 and 32 provided on the one side of the substrate 30.
