PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load protector which protects a control substrate from over-current and is suitable for preventing current supply to a load upon occurrence of the over-current. SOLUTION: Power supplies 1a, 1b, a motor 2, and the control substrate 6 are connected to a power amplifier substrate 3. The power amplifier substrate 3 is equipped with photo-couplers PC1 to PC3 which output a drive signal based on a current command signal from the control substrate 6, and a motor drive circuit 36 which supplies current from the power supply 1a to the motor 2 based on the drive signal. The control substrate 6 is equipped with a current command output circuit 61 which operates by receiving the power from the power amplifier substrate 3, and a fuse 63 provided to a power supply line L2 which connects the power amplifier substrate 3 and the current command output circuit 61. The current command output circuit 61 holds a signal level of the current command signal so that the drive signal to interrupt the supply of power to the motor 2 is output, when the fuse 63 is blown out to interrupt power supply.
