PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope capable of preventing the noise attributable to the vibration of a main rope. SOLUTION: In a rope hitch structure 10, a plurality of main ropes for hanging a car and a balancing weight are fixed in a hoistway of an elevator. The rope hitch structure 10 has a shackle rod 11, a hitch plate 12, a coil spring 13, and an end coil holding unit 16. The shackle rod 11 is mounted on each end of the plurality of main ropes 6. The hitch plate 12 has a through hole 121 with a fore end 112 of the shackle rod 11 being passed through. The coil spring 13 is housed over the fore end 112 of the shackle rod 11 passed through the through hole 121. The end coil holding unit 16 holds an end coil 131 of the coil spring 13 abutted on the hitch plate 12 in the direction across the center axis of the through hole 121. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
