PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center console structure for an automobile, in which a storage part is easy to use while an armrest is lifted. SOLUTION: The armrest 15 is vertically movable along a diagonal guide surface 5. As the armrest 15 is lifted for use, the armrest 15 is deflected backward to the storage part 3. Space S is thus opened in front of the armrest 15, and the storage part 3 is easy to use. When the armrest 15 is not used, the armrest 15 is lowered to be stored in the storage part 3. The armrest 15 is thus prevented from being an obstacle to a driver, and it is preferable in a case of operating a manual transmission, for example.
