PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a training apparatus in which a mechanism to convert rotational force of a driving motor to rocking motion of a saddle is simplified and vertical dimensions thereof are suppressed. SOLUTION: The training apparatus is to rock a saddle on which a human sits. A drive part for rocking the saddle comprises a driving motor 4 to drive rotation of an output shaft 7, a first drive mechanism to convert the rotational force of the driving motor 4 to front-rear reciprocating movement of the saddle, and a second drive mechanism to convert the rotational force of the drive motor 4 to right-left reciprocating movement. The first drive mechanism and the second drive mechanism are equipped with a worm wheel 32 to which the rotational force of the drive motor 4 is transmitted and a base plate which follows the rotation of the worm wheel 32 to convert the rotation force to the reciprocation movement together with the worm wheel 32 and transmit the movement to the saddle. The worm wheel is equipped with an eccentric vertical shaft 9 and the base plate to which the eccentric vertical shaft is inserted is provided with a driven long hole 13 to regulate the movement direction of the vertical shaft 9.
