The actuator has an adjusting unit (17) rotationally movable opposite to fixed housing parts, and including a snap-in configuration in which a spring-loaded detent pin (10) intervenes. An eccentric (5) is controllable by an electro mechanical actuator (2), which is formed as stepper motor, and changes the rotating movement of the adjusting unit based on the actuator position. The eccentric changes the force effect of the detent pin on the snap-in configuration. The eccentric can rotate relative to the detent pin.
