Use of norethisterone and/or its esters or salts for the treatment of migraine, stress headaches with or without cervical muscle cramps, sleep disturbances, depressions, panic attacks, excessive sweating related to progesterone deficiency, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease and/or restless leg syndrome. Independent claims are included for: (1) a drug delivery composition for the above mentioned treatment comprising norethisterone ester or its salts (0.25-200 mg); and (2) the preparation of drug delivery composition comprising mixing norethisterone, esters of norethisterone and/or its salts and subsequently forming a dosage form.
