A recording method for an optical disc capable of performing label printing is provided to prevent the distortion of a recorded result although recording operation is delayed by an intrinsic characteristic of an optical disc device. A microcomputer records inputted data as a spiral type in a label side of an optical disc in a state when the optical disc capable of recording the data in a data side and the label side is inserted(S10,S20,S21). When the recording operation is performed, the microcomputer records the next input data in the next track in disregard of partial data which are not recorded in a previous track(S30,S31).
