摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting rolling load in metal sheet rolling with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: By this method, in the rolling of a metal sheet, by using a shape ratioΓ, the n value of a strain hardening exponent, the m value of a strain speed hardening exponent, a sheet biting angleϕ, the coefficientμof friction between a rolled stock and a work roll for a parameter of a rolling force function Q which is a component of a rolling load formula, the rolling load is predictively calculated. Where, Q=a+τ+ψ+b×x<SP>(ξ+η)</SP>+c/x<SP>ζ</SP>(1), at least one of a, b, c,τ,ψ,ξ,ηandζis a variable using any of the n value, the m value, the sheet biting angleϕand the coefficientμof friction as a parameter and others excepting the variable is a constant.
