<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the action stability of an auxiliary brake device, and to install an auxiliary pedal at a position where the pedal can be operated without incompatibility. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary brake device comprises a driver's seat side unit B equipped with a main pedal 100, and a front passenger seat side unit A having an auxiliary pedal 1. So as to make the main pedal 100 follow the depressing/returning action of the auxiliary pedal 1, the auxiliary pedal 1 and the main pedal 100 are interlocked and coupled. The front passenger seat side unit is provided with a moving element 5 guided in a vehicular width direction by a guiding member 4 in reciprocating movement, and a rotation link mechanism 6 converting the depressing/returning action of the auxiliary pedal 1 into the reciprocating movement in the vehicular width direction of the moving element 5.
