PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical lens that can be efficiently mounted in and positioned to a lens holder. SOLUTION: The optical lens 11 made of a resin includes an optically functional part 12, and a flange part 13 disposed so as to surround the periphery of the optically functional part 12. A gate portion formed on a side of the periphery of the flange part 13 during the injection molding of the resin is cut off after the injection molding. In such an optical lens 11, a part of the flange part 13 is cut off together with the gate so that part of it is left in the direction of its thickness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
