PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and highly efficient supercharging device which quickly increases power taken out from an engine. SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump 22 discharges a hydraulic oil utilizing the power of the engine 10 or the power of a vehicle when a clutch 24 is engaged. An accumulator 28 stores the energy of the hydraulic oil discharged from the hydraulic pump 22. When a stop valve 30 is open, the hydraulic motor 32 drives a turbocharger 16 utilizing the energy of the hydraulic oil stored in the accumulator 28 to assist the supercharging by the turbocharger 16.
