PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a middle rail for a vertically sliding sash door commonly called a "Yukimi Shoji" or "Nekoma Shoji" allowing the use of the vertically sliding sash door instead of a sash by improving strength by the middle rail. SOLUTION: The middle rail 7 for the vertically sliding sash door A having glass panes 20 disposed in a fittings frame body 1, and a plurality of sash doors 30 dividedly formed in a vertically double sliding manner and regulated to the size to close the whole surface of an openingαof the fittings frame body 1, is structured to hold stiles 4 at both ends.
