PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less costly film sheet feed means as a means to send a film sheet fed out of a film sheet roll into manufactures intended for fabrication, and has advantages such as easy performance of a delicate film sheet braking operation, non-requirement of expensive components and much space, compact installation arrangement, simple maintenance and low incidence of trouble. SOLUTION: A sensor J is installed at a place for reading the outside diameter of a film sheet roll FR in such a way that braking force of specified value may be applied to the sheet roll FR. Then the film sheet F is fed out, but the sensor J can no longer read the outside diameter of the film sheet roll FR, in case the sheet roll FR is smaller than the diameter of a circle shown by a single-point chain line, for example. In this case, the braking force of the specified original value is changed over to braking force of a second value, and thereby, the brake is adjusted in the process of feeding out the film sheet F.
