A four-stroke rotary internal combustion engine consists essentially of a stroke ring (1) positioned around a rotor that describes a symmetrical arc. The stroke ring has two or more chamber side-extensions. The rotor has a number of sliding separators whose position defines a point in the combustion cycle. The rotor center point is coupled to a drive shaft. The stroke ring is enclosed by sidewalls at each end. The engine operates using the prior art cycle of induction, compression, ignition, exhaust.
|
