<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp with an auxiliary light source capable of preventing breakage of a battery means even when temperature in the vicinity of an electrode rises with lamp lighting. <P>SOLUTION: This fluorescent lamp with an auxiliary light source is characterized by comprising: an annularly-formed glass bulb 2 with electrodes sealed therein; and a base 3 having a body part 4 formed to cover both ends of the glass bulb 2, a housing part 6 with at least the battery means 8a housed therein, auxiliary light sources 7 arranged to face the outside, a vibration detection means 8b, an auxiliary light source lighting device 8 for lighting the auxiliary light sources 7 by power of the battery means 8a in response to detection of the vibration detection means 8b, and connection terminals 3c connected to lead wires connected to the electrodes and led out from the glass bulb 2, and arranged on the outside surface. Even when the temperature in the base 3 rises, the heat radiation effect of the base is excellent as compared a conventional base, the battery means 8a is never broken by temperature rise thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
