METHOD OF TRANSMITTING TIME INFORMATION WITH FIXED LATENCY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of transmitting information relating to the clock of the source of a sending part.

SOLUTION: The method includes a step of using a fixed latency indicator signal to authorize the source to insert time information used to slave the clock of the decoder of the associated receiving part to its clock.
