PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent destroying of a sealing cap 4 or cutting of a connection cord 5 for a cutout 1 in which the sealing cap 4 and a lower enclosure 3 are connected with the connection cord 5, by relaxing impact force generated by blowing off of the sealing cap 4 at the time of high current shutoff. SOLUTION: In a sealing cap mounting structure of the cutout, the lower enclosure 3 fixed to a lower end of a main body 2 is connected to the sealing cap 4 detachably in the opening of the lower enclosure 3 with the connection cord 5. The structure includes: a slide member 7 of an elastic material such as rubber or resin having a diameter larger than that of a connection aperture 3a on the side opposite to the side where the sealing cap 4 is connected to the connecting hole 3a of the lower enclosure 3; a connection member 6 with a double structure having a crimping implement 8 for maintaining a deformed state of the slide member 7 on the peripheral surface of the slide member 7; and a coming-off stopper 5c for stopping the coming-off of the connection cord 5 and an impact absorbing member 11 at the end of the connection cord 5 on the inserting side of the connection member 6.
