PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post erecting device which provides good workability without generating moment on an installation surface. SOLUTION: The post erecting device comprises a post body 1 arranged above a connecting part 4 of the installation surface 12, a leg body 3 arranged below the post body 1 to arrange the post body 1 separately the installation surface 12, and a connecting member 5 connecting the post body 1 and the connecting part 4 of the installation surface 12. The leg body 3 is placed on the installation surface 12, and the connecting member 5 and the connecting part 4 of the installation surface 12 are joined to each other by a pin so that the connecting member 5 may be tensed without slack between the post body 1 and the installation surface 12.
