PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading test method for an earth retaining pile, which dispenses with the construction of a structure for being exclusively used to bear reaction, and which enables a great push-in force to act on the earth retaining pile. SOLUTION: In this loading test method for the earth retaining pile 1, a jack 7 makes the downward push-in force act on the earth retaining pile 1 which is buried in ground. After the construction of the skeleton 5 of the structure subject to earth retaining by the earth retaining pile 1, the skeleton 5 serves as a reaction bearer, so that the jack 7 can make the push-in force act on the earth retaining pile 1.
