PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow stopper for a folded roof valley portion, which is hung from a snow stopper angle member transversely mounted on a folded plate roof, wherein the snow stopper contributes to smooth mounting work and improved safety after mounting the same. SOLUTION: The snow stopper is formed of a main body 1 and a fixing section 2. The main body 1 consists of a mounting plate portion 11 abutting on an upper surface of an angle upper horizontal plate portion when mounted on the angle member that is a mounting object, and a snow stopper plate portion 12 abutting on an external surface of an angle vertical plate portion and protruding downward from the angle member. The fixing section 2 consists of a fixing lower plate portion 21 having a shape that can abut on a lower surface of the angle upper horizontal plate portion, and a fixing internal plate portion 22 having a shape that can abut on an internal surface of the angle vertical plate portion. Then a front end of the mounting plate portion 11 and the fixed lower plate portion 21 are bendably connected together by a connection portion 3 formed of slots 31 and a narrow-width connection portion 32 by applying thereto a force of a predetermined value or more, to thereby connect the main body and the fixing section together in one body.
