PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a high functionality to an aliphatic polyester resin composition by compounding especially a cellulosic substance with the composition. SOLUTION: A cellulosic substance having an average particle size of 10-200μm is included in an aliphatic polyester resin as a crystal nucleus agent. In order to improve the dispersibility of the crystal nucleus agent into the matrix of the aliphatic polyester resin, a polybasic acid anhydride and an organic peroxide are added, as appropriate, to the resin. Further a modified aliphatic polyester resin may also be added. The mixture is heated and kneaded to obtain the objective composition. As a result, the storage modulus E' of the molding of the aliphatic polyester resin composition in the temperature range higher than its glass transition temperature Tg is improved as shown in the temperature profiles (b) and (c).
