SOLUTION: This black-colored spherical cellulose powder is characterized by that spherical cellulose contains carbon black of which the surface is coated with a compound represented by general formula: R<SB>1</SB>O-(CH<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>-O)<SB>m</SB>-(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>-Si(OR<SB>2</SB>)<SB>3</SB>(wherein R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each a saturated hydrocarbon group; and m and n are each an integer of 1 or more).
