PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for modifying a substrate surface which, by modifying the objective substrate surface, can strikingly improve the adhesion between the substrate and a coating material (agent) of a resin and the like and which can give a molded product that can fully demonstrate the desired physical properties, and to provide a laminate which has a layer consisting of such resin composition formed on the substrate. SOLUTION: The resin composition for modifying the substrate surface contains a multifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer and a (meth)acrylic copolymer, wherein the above (meth)acrylic polymer is the one obtained by polymerizing as the essential component a monomer having an active hydrogen group.
