PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for a vehicle capable of restraining a seat occupant properly using a side support without giving a discomfort feeling to the occupant. SOLUTION: The seat device 10 for vehicle is structured so that the contacting part with the occupant of a movable side support part 26 is regulated in advance to a temperature (10°C or more as one example) which is considered to be comfortable for a seat occupant when the occupant is restrained by the side support part 26. Therefore, even in case the occupant is restrained by the side support part 26 first after his getting on, when for example the intra-cabin temperature is low in winter etc., he contacting with the side support part 26 will not feel coldness.
